Apax Lab Konflux – Water Profile for Texture

Apax Lab Konflux is a mineral concentrate aimed at mouthfeel. Alongside the classic minerals, it contains silica (silicic acid), which makes the coffee silkier and more harmonious. It's one of several Apax profiles, alongside Tonik, Jamm and Lylac.
What Konflux Does
Silica changes the mouthfeel: the coffee feels softer and more enveloping, sharp edges are smoothed out, the aroma profile becomes more harmonious, and you can add Konflux to the brewing water or, as a fine addition, directly into the finished cup, where the effect on texture is immediately noticeable.
Use
A few drops directly into the cup or into the brewing water, and you can also combine Konflux with the other profiles – build a water with Tonik or Jamm, for example, and round off the texture with a drop of Konflux.
