Flair Milk Pitcher 400 ml – Stainless Steel Pitcher with Detachable Handle and Silicone Grip
You pick up the pitcher and feel the silicone grip – cool, soft, non-slip. You fill milk up to the 200-milliliter mark, which is laser-etched inside the stainless steel and remains visible even under the milk. The front opening is subtly curved and starts about a third from the bottom, which allows for better steam wand placement. You attach the wand, hold the pitcher at an angle, and begin to stretch the milk. When pouring, the milk flows more controllably through the rounded spout than with a straight spout.
This is the Flair Milk Pitcher in everyday use. A 400-milliliter stainless steel pitcher with a detail that sets it apart from other models: a detachable handle. With the handle, you have control and stability for classic preparations, while without the handle, you can perform pitcher spinning movements for advanced latte art techniques. You decide for each pour. Coffee Coaching Club is the exclusive Swiss importer of Flair Espresso.
What makes the Flair Milk Pitcher special
Detachable Handle with Silicone Grip
The handle can be removed in seconds, and the mechanism has an integrated silicone heat shield. With the handle: comfortable operation with a defined pivot point for reproducible stretching. Without the handle: pitcher spinning movements for latte art maneuvers that are difficult to perform with a fixed handle. Those just starting out use the handle; those learning latte art maneuvers switch to the handle-less version.
Front Curve One-Third from the Bottom
Most pitchers have a continuously straight front. The Flair Milk Pitcher has a subtle curve that starts one-third from the bottom. This opens up space for the steam wand – you position it more easily without having to hold the pitcher at an angle. When stretching, the curve helps the milk find the right swirling motion.
Laser-Etched Volume Markings 100–350 ml
Laser-etched markings inside the stainless steel for 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, and 350 ml. Reproducible dosing without weighing. For cappuccino 200 ml, for cortado 100 ml, for a large latte 300 ml – same line, same drink, every day.
Rounded Spout for Latte Art
The spout has a subtly rounded tip, tested together with experienced baristas and latte art champions. The effect: controlled flow when pouring slowly, more precise lines for detailed latte art (rosetta, tulip, swan). When stopping quickly, the shape prevents milk from running down the pitcher.
Integrated Thermometer Slot
A holder for the Flair Digital or Analog Thermometer is integrated into the handle. With the handle removed, a pitcher clip solution remains. For those aiming for reproducible milk temperatures – typical sweet spot 60–65 °C for classic drinks – this offers a direct solution. Thermometer optional, sold separately.

Who the Flair Milk Pitcher is for
For home setups with Flair machines: Anyone who has a Flair 58+2, Flair 49 Pro or another Flair and froths milk will find the ergonomically and aesthetically matching companion here. For latte art learners: detachable handle for spinning maneuvers, rounded spout for clean lines, laser-etched markings for reproducible quantities. And for 400 ml drinks: Cortado, Cappuccino, small Latte – here 400 ml is the sweet spot. For large lattes over 12 oz or multiple drinks in parallel, a 600 or 900 ml model from our Milk Pitcher Collection is worthwhile.
Where the Flair Milk Pitcher stands in the assortment

Cleaning and Care

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does the Flair Milk Pitcher have a detachable handle?
The detachable handle allows for two operating styles. With handle: classic latte art pouring with a defined pivot point, ideal for reproducible preparations. Without handle: pitcher spinning maneuvers, where the pitcher is rotated in the hand to create special latte art movements.
Which drink sizes are possible with 400 ml?
Single cappuccino, cortado, flat white, and small latte. For large lattes from 12 oz or two drinks in parallel, 400 ml is too little – then choose a 600 ml pitcher.
Which thermometer fits the pitcher?
The thermometer slot in the handle fits the Flair Digital- and the Flair Analog-Thermometer (both sold separately). With the handle removed, a pitcher clip works.
Does the pitcher work with any type of milk?
Yes – with cow's milk, oat, almond, soy, and coconut milk. Plant-based milk sticks a little more to the stainless steel, so rinse immediately after use.
Can the pitcher be put in the dishwasher?
Possible, but not recommended. Dishwasher detergents attack the stainless steel shine over time. Hand washing with warm soapy water is Flair's recommendation.
Roastery Tip
The Flair Milk Pitcher is a pitcher for learning – the detachable handle makes it a platform for latte art maneuvers that you cannot practice with a fixed handle. Our suggestion from showroom practice: Start with the handle, learn Rosetta and Tulip, build clean reproducible preparations. When that's solid, remove the handle and experiment with spinning. For cappuccino, start with Cozy Chocolate – the chocolate-caramel flavors come through the milk. Clean the pitcher immediately after each drink to maintain its shine for a long time. This is our recommendation, one of many.
