Hario replacement metal filter for Water Dripper Clear – MF-WDC-6
Hario metal filter MF-WDC-6: the spare part for the Water Dripper Clear WDC-6 cold drip tower. Stainless steel, sits at the bottom of the coffee chamber.
In the Water Dripper Clear, the grounds sit directly on this filter. It holds back the grounds while the cold drip runs slowly into the carafe. A round paper filter goes on top of the grounds and spreads the dripping water evenly. You will find both in our Hario collection.
Buy the filter online with delivery across Switzerland and Liechtenstein in 2–4 working days, or pick it up at our showrooms in Bern and Zurich.
Cold drip in brief
With cold drip, cold water drips through the grounds over several hours. Temperature decides which compounds dissolve. Extracted cold, the coffee usually tastes soft and round.
How fine you grind and how fast it drips is up to you. There is no right or wrong, the coffee just has to taste good to you. More gear for cold coffee is in the Cold Brew collection. Our opinion is one of many.

Tip from the roastery: For cold drip we like Cozy Chocolate and Nutty Delight: extracted cold, they stay chocolatey, nutty and round. For maximum body without acidity, go for Very Nutty. For the curious, Wild Peach brings a fruity note to the cup, cold as well. That is our recommendation, one of many.
