Why hot onto ice
With Flash Brew you extract the full aromas with hot water and cool them down immediately on the ice. That locks in the volatile, fruity notes that come through less in slow cold-drip extraction – the result is bright, clear and aromatic. Fill the ice container with ice cubes, brew filter coffee over it, done. Ten paper filters are included.

Who it's for

What's the difference to cold brew?
With Flash Brew you brew hot directly onto ice – it takes minutes and highlights bright, fruity aromas. Cold brew steeps for hours in cold water and tastes rounder and sweeter.
Are filters included?
Yes, ten paper filters are included. More are available in the Hario collection.
Which beans work well?
Lighter, fruity beans really shine, but round profiles work well too – it's a matter of taste.
Roastery tip
Flash Brew is the iced coffee method for chasing aromas – the fruity Wild Peach shows its peach note especially clearly here. If you prefer it rounder, go for Nutty Delight. That's our recommendation, one of many.
