Subminimal NanoFoamer GO – microfoam that fits in your jacket pocket
You flip open the case, dip the slim stainless steel shaft into the warm milk, a short whirr – and a few seconds later you have a dense, glossy microfoam ready to pour. In a hotel room, at the office, at the camping table.
The NanoFoamer doesn’t whip the milk up coarsely. It pushes it through a fine stainless steel NanoScreen, and that creates tiny, barely visible bubbles. This velvety texture blends softly into espresso and crema – fine enough to carry a heart or a rosetta.
What sets the GO apart from the bigger NanoFoamer
The GO is built to travel. The device measures 25 × 25 × 205 mm and weighs 76 g; together with the case it comes to 53 × 152 × 32 mm and 151 g. Once submerged, the motor spins at 5300 RPM on the high setting and 4200 RPM on the low one. It charges over USB-C, so there’s no separate power adapter to pack.
Two impellers and one NanoScreen
Three attachments sit ready in the case: the NanoScreen for the fine microfoam in cappuccino and latte, a Whisk-/Froth-Impeller for airier whipping and a Mixing Impeller for stirring things in. You swap them by hand, no tools needed.
Rinse it off instead of taking it apart
The GO is splash-proof to IPX-4. Subminimal states that this lets you wash it freely from all sides – hold it briefly under the tap, dry it off, back into the case. The impeller is made of food-safe POM; NanoScreen, shaft and cap are stainless steel 304.
Ten colours, with a matching case
Black, White, Midnight, Sky, Sage, Forest, Pollen, Rose, Terracotta and Cabernet. The carry pouch comes colour-matched to the device. We keep Subminimal’s original colour names, so reordering and comparing stay unambiguous.

Who it is for
For everyone who would rather not go without a proper cappuccino while travelling – in a hotel, at the office, in the camper. And for everyone at home with a capsule, portafilter or lever machine that has no steam wand, who still wants to pour latte art.
A tip from our café
The GO froths, it doesn’t heat. Warm the milk first – around 55 °C has proved a pleasant starting point for us, because the milk tastes sweet at that temperature and the texture still stays easy to shape. That’s our experience from behind the bar in Bern, not a lab figure.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the NanoFoamer GO and the NanoFoamer Lithium?
The GO is the travel version: 76 g light, 205 mm long and with a colour-matched case that keeps the device and its attachments together. Submerged it spins at 5300 and 4200 RPM respectively and charges over USB-C. The Lithium is the one for the kitchen counter and comes with several NanoScreens plus a wall mount.
Does the NanoFoamer GO heat the milk?
No. It froths cold or warm milk, but it doesn’t warm it up. You heat the milk first, then the GO comes in.
Does the NanoFoamer GO work with oat or soy drinks as well?
In our experience in the café it does, though barista versions of plant drinks give noticeably more stable foam than the standard ones. There is no manufacturer specification on this – try out which drink you like best.
How do you clean the NanoFoamer GO?
It is splash-proof to IPX-4 and, according to Subminimal, can be washed freely from all sides. In practice it is usually enough to hold it under hot water and let it run briefly right after frothing, then dry it off.
