Pure, quiet, made of brushed stainless steel: The Elektronika Profi II is a long-standing cult object from ECM – now with the option to switch between water tank and fixed water connection. The quiet rotary pump and programmable volumetric control make it a silent workhorse. ECM is a German manufacturer based in Bammental near Heidelberg and produces by hand in Germany and Italy.

Roastery Tip
With a heat exchanger, a short blank shot through the brew group (a so-called cooling flush) before the first shot is worthwhile, so that the water does not run into the portafilter too hot. We will show you this technique in the course. This is our recommendation, one of many.
