76.5° INCLINED GEOMETRY 

• The Varia VS3 electric grinder (Varia Stepless 38mm) uses an inclined geometry with an acute angle of 76.5°. This geometry allows for ideal zero retention conditions and improved workflow when adding coffee to the hopper, adjusting the grind, and providing 180° access to the dosing cup.

• Purging is not necessary when different coffees with a retention of less than 0.1 are ground over a 10g dose.

PRECISION STEPLESS GRIND ADJUSTMENTS

FINE PITCH THREAD WITH 0.01 MM (10 MICROMETERS) RELATIVE GRAVEL SHIFT PER INCREMENT.

• Our stepless adjustment is operated by rotating the hopper in the desired direction. As a result of our stepless assembly, we can achieve virtually unlimited particle sizes, giving you complete freedom to experiment.

• Each shift of the grave represents a relative vertical Burr shift of 10 μm (microns) or 0.01 mm per increment.

• Hopper capacity of 30 g.

SINGLE BODY OUTER BURR

• Improved Burr chamber mounting for ultimate alignment and concentricity of the driveshaft and Burr set, resulting in extreme consistency and precision.

• Unique to the VS3 is the drive shaft machined to a tolerance of 0.015 mm.

• Double layer ball bearings of the P5 class for smooth, stable and precise movements.

• Hard chamber premium springs for stability and damping of the ratchet under resistive load, resulting in reduced vibrations and movement of the internal parts, increasing consistency.

SINGLE BODY MACHINED OUTER BURR

• New external machining design made from a single piece of stainless steel with precision tolerances, resulting in precise alignment, concentricity and stability, while the grinding process results in a much more precise and consistent particle distribution.

• Small notches were also added to the ears of the outer ridge to ensure that it can be easily removed from the chamber by hand.

REFINED USER EXPERIENCE

• Magnets in the funnel lid to connect to the funnel, and our base to connect to our dosing cup.

• Non-slip silicone feet are also installed on the base of the VS3.

• Includes silicone bellows cleaner.

ANTI STATIC DESIGN ENSURES REDUCED STATIC RETENTION

• All internal metal parts with antistatic oxidation surface treatment.

• From the funnel to the dosing cup, coffee only touches metal.

- Well suited for dark, medium, and omni roasts. Very light roasts can cause the grinder to stall.
