The thin stream lands exactly where you want it, circles calmly over the coffee bed, and the pace is entirely in your hands – that's what the long, curved neck of the Buono is made for.
The Buono has been a household name in Pour Over for years, because it makes pouring precise and easy to control. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
The long, narrow spout gives you a fine, even stream of water and with it control over pace and placement. That's exactly what decides even extraction in a hand pour: where and how fast the water lands shapes the flavour in the cup. The Buono in stainless steel works on all stove types, including induction. It has no temperature control – if you want to set the water temperature to the degree, take a look at an electric kettle from the Varia collection.

For everyone who brews Pour Over, Chemex or AeroPress and wants a controlled stream of water – no electricity, just on the stove. The 1.0-liter version works well for one to two cups per pour; if you need more, choose the 1.2-liter version from the Hario collection.
A V60 dripper like the V60 NEO 02, paper filters from the Hario collection, a scale with timer from the Normcore lineup or the Acaia collection and a grinder from the hand grinders. Beans like the fruity Wild Peach or the round Nutty Delight.
Yes. The Buono in stainless steel works on all stove types, including induction.
No, it's a stovetop kettle without a temperature display. If you want to set the temperature to the degree, choose an electric kettle with a control.
So that nothing overflows while boiling and swirling, the recommended fill amount sits at around 0.6 liters, below the total volume of 1.0 liter – that gives you a safe margin when pouring.
For Pour Over, a good starting point is around 92 to 96 °C. Without a thermometer: after boiling, take it off the stove briefly and wait about thirty seconds to a minute. It turns out beautifully clear with Wild Peach. That's our recommendation, one among many.
