Brushed stainless steel, a robust ECM-61 brew group, and a blue manometer: The Technika VI is a dual boiler with two separately heated boilers, allowing for simultaneous brewing and frothing – and can also be used as a single circuit machine if needed. ECM is a German manufacturer based in Bammental near Heidelberg, producing handmade machines in Germany and Italy.
Coffee Coaching Club is ECM's partner in Switzerland. With every new coffee machine from CHF 1'500, a private barista introduction course of around 60 minutes is included – in Bern, Zurich or online, for up to two people from the same household or company attending together. The course must take place within one month of delivery; after that, the entitlement expires. Get in touch with us for the course and we'll find a date together. Swiss warranty and post-purchase support are also included.
Two boilers are heated simultaneously, and you set the brewing temperature via the PID. If needed, the machine can also be operated as a single circuit machine.
A Fast Heat-Up mode shortens the time until the first shot, while Smart Heat Management and an ECO mode ensure energy-efficient operation.
A quiet rotary pump maintains stable pressure during extraction. Operation via water tank or fixed water connection is possible.
Subtle display, programmable on/off times, active and passive pre-infusion, manometer in elegant blue, ergonomic steam and hot water wands.

Yes. Operation via water tank or fixed water connection is possible. We can set up the connection upon request during delivery.
Allow around 11 minutes – thanks to the Fast Heat-Up mode, the ECM-61 brew group is then stable at temperature.
Gladly. You can see it live in Bern and Zurich Oerlikon. Please let us know in advance, and we'll have it ready for you.
You can make the most of the dual boiler by choosing the brewing temperature to match the bean and leaving the steam boiler at full power independently – this produces fine milk foam for latte art. Brew a little higher for lighter roasts, and a little lower for darker ones. This is our recommendation, one of many.
