Rocket 2-spout portafilter for the R9 ONE – complete with filter basket
On the R9 ONE, the double portafilter is in use all day long. It takes the pressure of the group, holds the temperature and, between two shots, is knocked out, rinsed and locked back in. After a few years in service, it is a wear part like any other.
This version has two spouts and is supplied with a filter basket. It has the part number R699906520 and belongs to the R9 ONE.
Descale first, then replace
Before you replace a basket, it is worth taking a look at the limescale. A filter basket with clogged holes behaves like a defective part: the shot runs unevenly, spraying in one place and barely dripping in another. A backflush with cleaning powder and a descaling often achieve more than a new part. You can find our range for this under Machine and grinder cleaning.
Only if the basket still runs unevenly after cleaning, or the holes are visibly widened, is it time for a replacement.
When it is due
The portafilter no longer sits snugly in its mount, turns too far or jams.
One of the two spouts runs differently from the other, even though the puck is evenly distributed and the cleaning is recent.
The handle wobbles, the spouts are bent, or water escapes at the rim where it has no business being.

In addition, there is the bottomless portafilter with double basket, which we carry as a barista accessory and not as a service part. Individual filter baskets are available as a 7 g basket and a 14 g basket.
For the four portafilters of the Appartamento TCA and the other home machines, our documentation gives no part number, and for none of the eight does it give the diameter of the filter basket. If you are not sure which series you have in front of you, send us the serial number and we will identify it.
Who it is for
For anyone who runs an R9 ONE in day-to-day business and needs a replacement or spare portafilter.
Not intended for Rocket home machines, nor for the R8 or R9 – they have their own portafilter numbers.

From our workshop
In Bern and Zürich, we keep one more portafilter ready per machine than the machine has groups. The spare portafilter spends the night in the cleaning bath, while the other stays in use. That way, there is never a freshly rinsed, cold portafilter in the group in the morning to throw off the first two shots. This is our routine, not a manufacturer requirement.
To break in a new portafilter, we like to use something forgiving: Nutty Delight forgives the first uneven shots, whereas Cozy Chocolate clearly shows whether the extraction is right. The full range is listed under Coffee beans.
Returns excluded
Spare parts are excluded from exchange and return. They are procured specifically for each order and cannot be resold once they have been installed or test-fitted on the machine. So before ordering, check the model, year of manufacture and serial number of your machine – or send us a quick message and we will check the fit together. Your rights in the case of defective goods remain unaffected.

Is a filter basket included?
Yes, the basket is part of the scope of delivery. The documentation for this number does not state a gram size.
Does the portafilter fit an older R9?
The number is assigned to the R9 ONE. For the R8 and R9 we carry separate items. Send us the serial number and we will identify it.
Can I return the portafilter if it does not fit after all?
Spare parts are excluded from return, even after being locked into the machine. That is why we prefer to check the fit together beforehand.
Can I look at the part in your showroom?
