Mahlkönig E65S – slim 65 mm espresso grinder for the bar
Little space on the counter, a lot going on during service – and the grind still needs to be right: the E65S stands narrow at the bar, runs noticeably quiet, and delivers a repeatable dose at the push of a button. Between two shots, you adjust the grind with one hand, and the setting holds.

What makes the E65S special
65 mm specialty steel
Glass bead-blasted burrs made from hardened specialty steel (64–66 HRC) deliver an even grind profile – the basis for clean extraction at medium throughput.
Icon menu, up to 6 recipes
Operation runs through a clear icon menu and a turn-and-push dial. Up to six grind recipes can be saved and recalled.
Stepless adjustment with lock
The grind size adjusts quickly and steplessly with one hand; an independent lock reliably holds the setting you've found.
Removable, adjustable outlet
The outlet adapts to the portafilter and can be removed for cleaning – the grounds land centred exactly where they should.
Quiet grinding
The sound-insulated housing keeps grinding noise pleasantly low – noticeable throughout the day in front-of-house operation.
Practical details
A robust bean hopper with bag clip and a magnetically held drip tray keep daily use tidy and easy to maintain.
With espresso, there's no "right" or "wrong": grind size, dose and ratio are the variables you use to dial in your own taste. A common starting point is 1:2, roughly 18 g of ground coffee to about 36 g of espresso.
