Hario V60 Buono Water Kettle 1.2 Litre – more reach for bigger pours
Set on the stove, brought to a boil, and with one calm tilt the neck fills – the fine stream stays controllable, even when you're pouring for several cups.
The 1.2 litre version of the Buono offers a bit more volume for longer pours, yet stays just as precise as the smaller version. We carry Hario at Coffee Coaching Club.
Why the gooseneck
The long, narrow outlet delivers a fine, even stream of water and gives you control over pace and where it lands – the foundation of an even extraction. The stainless steel Buono works on every stove type, including induction. It has no temperature control; if you want to dial in the water temperature to the degree, take a look at an electric kettle from the Varia collection.

Who it's for
For anyone who regularly brews for several people and wants a bit more reach. If you mostly brew alone, the 1.0 litre version from the Hario collection will suit you well.
What goes with it
A V60 dripper like the V60 NEO 02, filter paper from the Hario collection, a scale with timer from the Normcore range or the Acaia collection and a grinder from the hand grinders. Beans like Nutty Delight or the fruity Wild Peach.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference to the 1.0 litre version?
Just the volume: 1.2 litres capacity with around 0.8 litres for boiling, compared to 1.0 litre with around 0.6 litres. Shape, material, and outlet are the same.
Is the Buono suitable for induction?
Yes. The stainless steel Buono works on every stove type, including induction.
Does the Buono have temperature control?
No, it's a stovetop kettle without a temperature display. For degree-precise settings, an electric kettle with temperature control is the better fit.
Roastery tip
For pour-over, a good starting point is around 92 to 96 °C. Without a thermometer: take it off the heat briefly after boiling and wait about thirty seconds to a minute. It turns out beautifully round with Nutty Delight. That's our recommendation, one of many.
