Sporting Commitment: We Support Nils Brun & Nadine Aeberhard
United by Coffee is more than just a promise in a cup for us. The Coffee Coaching Club is based in Bern and Zurich – and we are convinced that good coffee and genuine community provide energy. And we love to share this energy.
As part of our commitment to sports, we support young Swiss athletes and accompany two young talents on their way to the top: gravel cyclist Nils Brun and BMX and pumptrack rider Nadine Aeberhard. Both share what drives us: passion, discipline, early mornings – and enjoyment at the right moment.
Nils Brun – from Road Pro to Gravel Privateer
Nils (born 2000) hails from Spiez in the Bernese Oberland. At the age of ten, he joined the Bike Club Spiez, and by twelve, he was already among the top ten mountain bikers in Switzerland. In 2020, he switched to road cycling, promptly became Swiss U23 champion, and then rode for Tudor Pro Cycling in races like Strade Bianche, Il Lombardia, E3 Classic, and the UAE Tour.
In 2025, he competed in his first gravel race – and immediately placed fourth at the UCI Monsterrato, behind riders like Romain Bardet and Petr Vakoč. Since then, all his energy has been dedicated to gravel cycling: as a privateer, with big goals.
"My name is Nils Brun, I'm a gravel pro, and coffee is both a source of energy and enjoyment for me. My ambition is to gradually work my way up to the top of the world in gravel sports. My long-term goal is the 2029 Gravel World Championships in Villars, where I aim to compete for a World Championship medal."

Nadine Aeberhard – Olympian on Two Wheels
Nadine (born 2002) is from Seeland in Bern and is at home in BMX Racing. In 2024, she made her Olympic debut in Paris and advanced to the semifinals in the BMX Racing tournament. In the same year, she won bronze at the European Championships in Verona and reached her first Elite World Cup final in Tulsa (USA).
She is also world-class on the pumptrack: at the 2024 World Championships in Durban, she won silver – just seven hundredths of a second behind Czech Sabina Kosarkova. She had already finished second in 2019, at the World Championship premiere in the Swiss Bike Park in Oberried.
Off the track, Nadine not only swears by good coffee but also by matcha – enjoyment in every cup, just to our taste.

- Vice World Champion Pumptrack 2024 (Durban)
- European Championship Bronze BMX 2024 (Verona)

Why we do this
Elite sports rarely happen in the spotlight. They happen in the early hours of the morning, in silent repetition, in believing in one's own goal – much like a perfectly extracted espresso. Fostering young talents is close to our hearts: we want to support Nils and Nadine so they can gradually work their way up to the top of the world.
This is made possible primarily by one thing – you. With every cup, every bean, and every machine you choose from us, you not only support your own coffee enjoyment but also two young Swiss sports talents on their journey. For that, we sincerely thank you.
And if Nils and Nadine need a really good cup after a tough session – be it coffee or matcha – we have it ready. United by Coffee.
